With our satellite navigation equipment you can never get lost on your trip. We rent out TomTom GO930 units, the latest in GPS navigation. A built-in loudspeaker and mic gives you the same functionality as in-car navigation. There's also a TMS function to automatically route around traffic queues or accidents and an FM transmitter to use your car radio for audio playback. The unit can also be used as a bluetooth handsfree set for your mobile. Next to that you can take our unit out of the car and use it on a boat or even while hiking / walking (it'll run about 5 hours on the internal battery).
The GPS network
The GPS network is a set of satellites around the globe that are geo stationary. The GPS receiver receives the beams and calculates it's position (including height), accurate within a meter. Cards are provided in the unit to show your position not only in numbers but on a map.
TomTom GO 930
The TomTom GO 930 we rent out includes a map set that covers all of Europe, US and Canada to postcode level. You can look for cities, well known places, streets or postcodes. Gas stations, restaurants, hotels and other interesting places are included. Everything you need for a troublefree trip is included in the package and you can even voice command the unit while you're on the way. The maps are always the latest available up-to-date version.
Pricing
